You finally have an explanation. What comes next?

An AuDHD diagnosis can bring relief, grief, recognition and a hundred new questions at once. You do not need to understand your entire life today.

You are still the same person

A diagnosis does not suddenly create your traits, needs or strengths. It gives you another framework for understanding experiences that were already part of your life. Relief, grief, validation and uncertainty can exist together.

Seven small places to begin

  1. Pause without trying to solve everything.
  2. Learn what AuDHD can explain.
  3. Look back at past experiences gently.
  4. Notice energy, sensory load and recovery.
  5. Name environments and supports that help.
  6. Choose if and when disclosure feels useful.
  7. Make a small starting map of what you have noticed.

Make it personal

AuDHD Companion helps you record energy, sleep, stress, sensory load, brain fog, spoons and private context. After seven check-ins, you have a short personal baseline to reflect on. It is a wellbeing tool, not diagnosis or treatment.

AuDHD Companion provides self-reflection, organisation and general wellbeing tools. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or emergency support.
